When the wind changes in Willow Creek, it doesn’t shout — it hums.
And lately, I’ve felt that same hum while turning the first pages of my next story.
Letters from Willow Creek taught me what it means to start again — to choose hope after loss and tenderness after silence.
But every story leaves an echo, and sometimes that echo becomes the beginning of another tale.
This time, the whisper belongs to Rachel Ellis, a widowed mother learning what strength looks like when it’s gentle, and Silas Everett, a quiet rancher who’s forgotten what joy sounds like until a small voice calls him Papa. Their children — Asher and Annie — will teach them both that love can be rebuilt one small act of trust at a time.
If you’d like to hear the whispers before they become pages, you can join me in the Early Reader Circle on Facebook. It’s where I share early glimpses, behind-the-scenes notes, and the moments that never quite make it into the books — but still belong to Willow Creek.
And somewhere down the road, familiar faces from Willow Creek still keep the porch light burning. 🌾
Where Letters was a story of healing through courage,
Whispers on the Wind is a story of healing through family — about what happens when we let love back in, even when we’re afraid to hope.
There are new meadows to explore, new hands to hold, and a few old wounds ready to mend.
The wind is shifting in Willow Creek, carrying new stories on its breath.
And keep an eye right here next week, when I’ll share a tiny first glimpse of Rachel’s world. 🌿
